Each casting uses a carefully blended mixture of Gypsum (a soft stone which is finely crushed and heated to achieve certain properties). Artisans spend several years building their skill base to allow them to put life into these Western sculpture. Each and every Western sculpture is hand painted and, whilst the finished products can be said to be replicas, every item is truly unique. By using a combination of fine bristled paint brushes and air brushes, special paints and patinas, each piece gradually comes to life. The paints used are durable and can be wiped over with a soft, damp cloth for cleaning.
